Samsung Galaxy Buds+ Sound Quality

Talking about the sound quality of the first generation of Samsung Buds which comes with a 1-Way Dynamic speaker, this time Samsung has included a 2-Way Dynamic Speaker (Woofer + Tweeter) with AKG tuning that hugely improves the sound quality. Samsung has described it as “studio-quality that is balanced, detailed and natural.” Samsung has added much needed low-end depth and a smoother mid-range to the sound signature. Also, the Ambient mode that allows the passthrough of outside sound has also been improved where you can adjust the ambient sound level.
Samsung Galaxy Buds+ Call Quality
The Galaxy Buds Plus has been packed with 3 Mics (2 Outer and 1 Inner) which improves the call quality as the one extra mic is used to cancel the outside noise. Compared to the previous generation, which comes with 2 Mics (1 Outer and 1 Inner), where user sometimes complained about the heavy outside noise which is managed efficiently by an extra noise cancellation mic in the newer version. Also read: Samsung Galaxy Buds - Low Volume Issue Fixed
Samsung Galaxy Buds+ Water Resistance
This is a bit disappointing that Samsung has decided to leave the water-resistance feature on Galaxy Buds+ the same as Galaxy Buds. This means it is IPX2, you can use it for an occasional sweaty workout but not much more. Talking about the competition, the all-new TWEs shipping these days is packed with a minimum of IPX4.Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus - Battery Life
This time Galaxy Buds+ battery life is almost double as compared with Galaxy Buds. Buds+ is packed with 11hr of battery life and with charging case it is increased to 22hr which is almost doubled as 6hr and 13hr of the previous version.Samsung Galaxy Buds+ Noise Cancellation
Sadly Samsung has ditched the active noise cancellation feature this time. This has been done to improve the battery performance of Galaxy Buds+. However, when using the right combination of ear tips and wingtips block most of the outside noise.Samsung Galaxy Buds+ Extra Features
- Support for multiple Bluetooth connections.
- One-touch access to Spotify via the earbuds
- Dedicated iOS App - The previous version of Galaxy Buds were not supported on iOS devices like they were on other Android phones. Samsung is launching a dedicated iOS app which enables the customization features for Galaxy Buds+ on iOS devices.

ReplyDeleteAlthough, Samsung Galaxy Buds are good headphones, Apple Airpods are still the best on market. Moreover, all people are already used to Airpods.
