OnePlus 7 Pro to Support HDR 10+ (Updated)

It has been confirmed that OnePlus' upcoming smartphone is going to pack an HDR10+ certified display. This means users will get more dynamic, detailed and vivid viewing experience.

HDR10+ technology provides frame-by-frame adjustments for the optimum representation of contrast from the HDR source content. The peak brightness of HDR10 is 1,000 nits whereas HDR10+ has a peak brightness of 4000 nits. The difference is huge.

“HDR10+ is the future of not just television displays, but of smartphone displays as well. We hope that our newest device will set a new benchmark for the smartphone industry and open up a new world of visual fluidity for users. We’re glad we are leading the ranks in sharing quality technology with the world,” Pete Lau, OnePlus CEO, said in a statement.

The OnePlus 7 Pro’s screen will also feature an A+ top-grade rating given by “DisplayMate” and is “Safety for Eyes” certified by VDE.

On 14th of May OnePlus is ready to showcase another masterpiece by it in an event in Bengaluru. The base variant of OnePlus 7 Pro in India will be featuring 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

OnePlus 7 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 855 processor and will pack a massive 4,000 mAh battery with 30W Wrap charge fast charging support. 

The smartphone is available on Amazon India which has been launched globally on 14th May.
