JIO GigaFiber vs Others:

The place at which the telecom market is standing sounds remarkable. Nobody ever thought that the price war vs features will one day become prestige issue to give the best of the best to the users and trusted customers.

In front of Jio GigaFiber stands Airtel’s V Fiber, Vodafone You and BSNL BBG, however, BSNL having the Sarkaari tag lags a lot behind. Let’s explore them one by one:
Reliance Jio Giga Fiber has been categorized into 2 main segments- speed based plans and volume based plans. The plan starts at 500 and goes up to Rs. 5000 and the FUP data limit can be used is between 5 GB and unlimited.

Airtel V Fiber plans start from Rs. 999 and goes till Rs. 4999 with the FUP data limit ranges from 50 GB to 1000 GB.

BSNL is charging 100 Mbps speed till 750 GB and up to 2 Mbps beyond the limit at 1277 monthly.

Vodafone You currently charges 3237 for 1050 GB data at speed up to 150 Mbps for 90 days.

When it comes to speed of the broadband service, GigaFiber service from Reliance Jio sounds like a good option as it is likely to deliver up to 1 Gbps speed. On the other hand, the Airtel V-Fiber technology renders up to 100 Mbps speed.

Jio plans come bundled with the Welcome Offer that gives user unlimited and free internet usage for up to 90 days.

Fiber technology based broadband services is quite beneficial to make user enjoy with lesser buffering, faster downloads and ultra-reliable connectivity.

Airtel and BSNL showed no plans to integrate IoT whereas Jio has already shown its eagerness to come with IoT Home a reality in India with Jio DTH and other smart home solutions. Reports reveal that Jio is already doing beta testing.
