Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 Launched in China with 10GB RAM and Full Screen Slider


Xiaomi has launched new Mi Mix series in China. This is the fourth smart phone in this series after Mi Mix, Mi Mix 2 and Mi Mix 2S. Mi Mix 3 comes with a sliding camera setup. This type of setup was present in Oppo Find X.

There are 3 variants available for Mi Mix 3.
  • 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. This will cost 3,299 yuan (Rs.34,700)
  • 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. This will cost 3,999 yuan (Rs.42,100)
  • 10 GB RAM and 256GB storage. This will cost 4,999 yuan (Rs.52,700)


The 10GB variant is a special edition called Forbidden City Palace Museum. The company is claiming it to be the first smart phone with 10GB RAM.

It has a 6.39-inch AMOLED display and has the screen to body ratio about 93.4%. It has a screen resolution of 2340x1080p.



Mi Mix 3 is powered by Snapdragon 845 processor and Xiaomi will also launch its 5G variant in European countries.


Talking about camera, this device has for cameras. There are two cameras in rear, 12-megapixel each. One wide angle and another telephoto. The front has a combination of 24-megapixel and 2-megapixel. Surprisingly, there is a fingerprint sensor on the back. However, the smartphones like Vivo V11 pro and OnePlue 6T are coming with under display fingerprint sensor.

This device supports wireless charging and comes with a 10W wireless charger. The smartphone also incorporates a dedicated AI button on the left side which on holding wakes up the Xiao AI voice assistant and can also be customised for different actions on single and double click.
